Project Description:

This Automatic Watering System Project works without Arduino or any microcontroller. It is based on simple electronics and sensors that automatically turn the water pump ON when soil is dry and OFF when soil is wet. Ideal for school science projects, exhibitions and STEM learning.

It Contains:

Soil moisture sensor module, DC water pump (5V / 9V / 12V as per kit), relay module, connecting wires, plastic water pipe, battery with charging module, battery holder, sunboard sheet.

How It Works:

The soil moisture sensor continuously monitors soil condition. When the soil becomes dry, the circuit activates the relay and turns ON the water pump automatically. Once sufficient moisture is detected, the pump switches OFF, saving water and energy.

Applications:

Home gardening, potted plants, school science projects, agriculture demonstration models, water conservation projects.

Learning Outcomes:

Basic electronics, sensor working principle, automation concept, water management, eco-friendly technology.
